Wisła is not just about dense spruce forests and mountain trails welcoming hikers; it's also about waterfalls. The waterfall at Mała Zatoka, Wyrchmalinki waterfall, Rastocki cascades, and Rodła Cascades are places worth visiting while in Wisła.
The waterfalls in Wisła are a combination of human-made and natural wonders. The creation of the larger ones was initiated by humans. This was the case with Mała Zatoka in Wisła and the Wyrchmalinki waterfall. Read on to discover which waterfalls are worth a visit and how much time you'll need to reach them from Hotel Vestina in Wisła Malinka.
Mała Zatoka Waterfall
This is probably the most frequently photographed waterfall in Wisła, and it's even considered a must-visit spot. To reach the Wisła Niagara, as this waterfall is also called, take the Czarne street towards Lake Czerniańskie. You can't miss the 8-meter-high structure built on the Wisełka stream back in the 1950s. Opposite the dam, there are fish passes, which are water thresholds allowing fish to migrate downstream.
The parking area is right next to it, on the other side of the street. You can walk along the reservoir on a path next to the dam. The Czarna street waterfall is also accessible during trips offered by Zielona Wiślańska Ciuchcia.
How to get to the waterfall?

Wyrchmalinki Waterfall
Another artificially formed and unfortunately less popular waterfall is located in Wisła Malinka. This approximately 8-meter-high waterfall was created for the needs of a grain mill that existed here until 1945. Although the waterfall is as tall as the Wisła Niagara, it is much less visited because it is hidden in the forest.
How to get to the waterfall?
There are several paths. One of them leads along Fiedorowska Street. Drive to the end of the road. You'll have less than a kilometer left to walk.
If you'd like to walk there from Hotel Vestina, be prepared for about a 3-kilometer walk one way. It should take about 45 minutes to cover such a distance.
Rastocki Cascades and Waterfall in Wisła Malinka
Wisła Malinka is not only one of the largest valleys in the city through which the Malinka stream flows. It's also where Adam Małysz's ski jumping hill stands. But few people know that Malinka has three waterfalls. The first one is Wyrchmalinki, which we mentioned earlier. The next two are the cascades on Rastoki Street and the forest waterfall, Rastocki.
The cascades are about 600 meters from the forest waterfall.
How to get to the cascades on Rastoki Street?
From our hotel, it's less than 3.5 km away. Location: ul. Rastoki 3.
How much time do you need to get there?

Rodła Cascades
The last mandatory point of the trip is the Rodła Cascades. This is a complex of about 25 natural waterfalls and river thresholds on the Biała Wisełka river. The waterfalls range from about half a meter to five meters in height. The name Rodła Cascades was coined by Jan Krop, the chairman of the Society of Wisła Enthusiasts. They have borne this name since 1987. There are 22 points of the educational path by the thresholds and waterfalls. The path along the Biała Wisełka coincides with the tourist trail from Wisła Czarne to Barania Góra.
Most of the road is asphalted, which is why entire families often go for walks here.
